let's pawty!

My Ava girl has had a rough go of it when it comes to her birthday parties up until this point. Both her first and second birthdays were affected by the pandemic. Her first birthday was celebrated virtually with guests and her second birthday party was canceled the day before due to an exposure. I told myself we were going to go all out for the third birthday to try to make up for the years past. Little did I know it was going to create a party planning and hosting loving monster!!

This pawty was minimalistic: white, but not. I tried to keep it clean and classy, yet fun! I did all of the balloon installations myself. Since her 2nd birthday was canceled last minute, I had lots of decor that had been sitting in storage, so I got creative and used some of those elements to add texture to the balloon installs. I incorporated honeycomb paper balls and paper pompom balls and I really love the way they turned out.

I used two 4ft bifold tables at the lowest height for the kiddo table. For favors, I personalized the kiddo cups with a holographic paw print along with their name and also had a Paw Patrol themed playdoh sensory kit.

For entertainment we had a bounce house, a coloring station, and the playroom available.

Our unique element this year was ICEE machines! We also served hot chocolate. :)

I used tag lines for the pups to inspire me when making the acrylic signage for the party.
