My sister in law, Jillian, and I really threw our family for a loop in 2022 when we delivered our littlest babes just days apart! What better way to celebrate Walker and Ella turning one than TOGETHER!?

We were hosting this party at my in-laws' farm in Iowa and we had to keep the celebration gender neutral so when we stumbled upon a Farmer's Market theme, it just seemed perfect for the season and the location! 

I used the 7ft gold metal arch and the 5ft gold metal half moon stand for the backdrop and used fitted arch covers. With Jillian's help we installed the balloons on the backdrop and the wall. 

My seriously fantastic, up for anything, hard working father in law and uncle in law? is that a thing? Anyway, my father in law and his brother built us these beautiful picnic tables from scratch for seating. They were the true party MVPs! The tables turned out absolutely perfect.

The favors we put together for this party may be my all time favorite. We stuffed berry baskets with a mini potted plant grow kit with a personalized plant tag. We cut egg cartons apart, filled them with macarons to look like eggs, and sealed them up in a clear bag. I just adored them. I also personalized a plastic milk carton cup for each guest so they could track their signature refreshment.

In my teens I worked at Michael's in the floral department so I felt pretty comfortable putting together the flower centerpiece for the table. These flowers were extra special because we were able to use peonies harvested from my husband's late grandparent's home landscaping. <3

When you think farmer's market (if you're my F-I-L), you think PIE! So, escaping traditions, we served pie as our main dessert! I'll take mine à la mode, please! We also had custom sugar cookies and smash cakes for Ella and Walker that donned mini fruits and veggies.

For entertainment, we had a bounce house, bubbles, and set up a play-yard for the really littles with soft fruit and veggie sets and a farm to table playset.
